MacDermid Autotype to exhibit innovative eco products at FESPA 2010
World leading developer and manufacturer of high quality coated films and chemicals, MacDermid Autotype will be exhibiting its latest technology in screen making products and digital and industrial substrates at FESPA 2010. Exhibiting in conjunction with the European Screen Manufacturers Association (ESMA), the company’s specific focus will be on helping screen printing and design companies maximise consistency, improve quality and profitability while simultaneously minimising environmental impact.

MacDermid Autotype's innovative screen making product range is world renowned, including classic products like Five Star, Capillex and PLUS emulsions. For over a century MacDermid Autotype products have helped literally thousands of printers worldwide improve their profitability through greater consistency and control of their screen printing process. A good example of this is the latest ecological screen cleaning chemicals developed in MacDermid Autotype’s CPS Division. These include hazard label free solvents, low and non-caustic haze removers, and concentrated liquid stencil removers and degreasers.

CPS chemicals allow users to achieve optimum cleaning standards while using less chemicals, meaning that each litre of product cleans more screens and lasts much longer than inferior products. Service life is extended still further as the chemicals can be recycled and reused. Most importantly, the CPS range of products has been designed to combine unrivalled levels of performance with environmental responsibility, making them a safer alternative to traditional chemicals used for mesh preparation, ink removal and stencil reclamation.

MacDermid Autotype is also a global leader in high quality digital and industrial films, including its hard coated polyester films for producing membrane keyboards, keypads and fascia panels. Featured in this range is Autotex Steel, a new film that allows designers to produce stainless steel effects from a thin flexible and easily formable film, combining high levels of colour reproduction and definition with a scratch resistant outer surface that also offers excellent resistance to a wide range of chemicals and solvents.

In addition, MacDermid Autotype will be featuring its antimicrobial film which has been developed for the production of displays, fascia, graphic panels and other applications requiring high levels of clarity, durability, and scratch and chemical resistance. The films feature in-built Microban® anti-microbial protection, which is proven to inhibit the growth of bacteria, mould and fungi, providing the ideal solution where cleanliness and hygiene are of paramount importance.

FESPA 2010 will take place at Messe Munich, Germany from 22nd to 26th June.
